one thing I am still a bit concerned about isdiet. In the info. i Had from the oncologist it said to avoid fresh fruit and whole meal cereal, both of iwhich I eat a lot of. I wonder if you had any issues over diet. Any more info. Would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Carol, I seem to inadvertently have 2 names, Tony and Kingsbridge. Not good with tech. stuff. Anyway I am due to start Pembro on 31st Dec. good timing eh. And due at a dinner party that evening. Will let you know how it goes.
You'll be in good hands. We were frightened when my partner started but it's been really effective so stick with it if you tolerate it. Prepare as best as you can by setting the contact numbers on your phone and anything else that makes you feel safer. They'll keep a close eye on you so try not to feel too alarmed. Have you someone who can keep an eye on you when you're out of the hospital to begin with?
Thankyou for that. Now I’ve had the first dose of treatment I do feel much better and no I’ll effects yet. My wife is with me and that helps a lot of course. The doctors offer you this treatment then frighten to death by telling you of all the nasty things that can happen. So now I’m waiting for them to start. Hopefully as time goes on I’ll calm down.I’m still trying to get the hang of how this forum works. Keep in touch.
