I have a 1cm nodule in my lung with no symptoms. I'm trying to decide on surgery or radiotherapy to remove it. I am 73 & reasonably healthy. I would appreciate views from anybody with similar. Thank you
I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It's understandable that this may be a difficult time for you and natural that you want to make sure you choose the right treatment pathway for you.

Hi Bilko Pat. Sorry to hear your news . I have the same thing as yourself, a 1cm nodule on upper right lung which they’ve told me is highly likely to be a lung cancer . I have opted for the surgery which I am awaiting now . I am 62 years old and was told there is no spread so surgery, even tho it’s major, is the best treatment for a ( hopefully) curative result . Hi Shebella.. Thank you very much for your message. After some more discussions & very helpful messages online, like you I opted for surgery. I was very quickly admitted on the 19/12/24 & was home on the 22nd. I am slowly recovering, & waiting for the results of the biopsy.
