With no symptoms, advanced kidney cancer, metastasised to the lungs and invading the renal vein, was found on an ultrasound scan for a different issue. Removal of the kidney is not possible. Tomorrow, I start immunotherapy and targeted therapy with all the risks involved. I have 4 adult children and 2 grandchildren and I am very, very scared. I cannot get my head round this!!!
