I'm sorry to hear that you're undergoing treatment for cancer at the moment and it's likely that you will need to have your bladder removed. It's understandable that you may have questions about the impact that this will have on your life. 

I'm not sure that we have any current members who are living with a urostomy but I wanted to give you the link to a charity called Fight Bladder Cancer where I'm sure you'll be able to connect with others. If you have a Maggies in your local area you might also want to get in touch with them as they often have bladder cancer support groups that meet up. 

We do have some information on our website about bladder removal that you may find helpful as well as a team of nurses that you can call to chat with Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. 

I do hope that you can connect with someone who can share their experiences with you and that your surgery and recovery go smoothly.
