Hello Qiaouk
I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some concerns about your health that have shown you have atypical thyroid cells. Understandably this may be a worrying time for you.
I presume from your post that the hospital team have given you the option of regular monitoring or having your thyroid removed and that you're struggling to decide which is the best option for you.
I know that we've had many people post similar experiences on the forum previously. Do talk through any questions or concerns that you have, about both options, with the specialist. If you'd like to chat with one of our nurses for some advice and support you can call them on 0800 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
Whatever option you choose Qiaouk I hope that things progress well for you.
Best wishes,
Jenn
