  • Hello Dreamscape

I'm sorry to hear about the news that has brought you here. Undoubtedly it's a difficult time for you all and natural that you will have concerns about the treatment planned for the coming months. It's good to hear that you have family around you for support. I'm sure that their love and support will be invaluable.

Many of our members here have shared their concerns about starting chemotherapy. You should be given contact details for a cancer nurse specialist and for the chemo team so that if you have any concerns, or questions or are struggling with side effects once treatment starts, please do contact them. They will be able to offer advice and support to try and make this journey as easy as possible for you.

If you want to talk with one of our nurses at any point for advice and support you can call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

I hope that things progress smoothly for you Dreamscape. Keep in touch and let us know how you get on with the next biopsy.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Dreamscape, I am in the same situation. I was diagnosed last week, waiting to see the oncologist to discuss chemotherapy at the end of October. Thinking of you & sending you lots of strength.
