I’m looking for advise help or anything positive but mostly honestly.

my 85 year mum has just been diagnosed with stage 3A squamous cell lung cancer. I’m devastated to say the least.

my mum is so active and fit for her age you would never guess her age.

we are seeing the oncologist tomorrow to discuss treatment.

i think chemo and radio were mentioned but I think they want to see how fit she is.

can an 85 year handle chemo ? I’m so scared about it all, I haven’t slept for weeks really and just want to know how this cancer compares with other lung cancers, can you beat it and what should we expect
