Hello, my dad has recently been diagnosed with prostrate cancer and has a PSA reading of 96.2. Is this high? We are waiting for the results of a blood test and appointments for a CT tap and bone scan.
I'm sorry to hear that your Dad has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer. It's understandable that you may have questions and concerns whilst you're waiting for him to undergo further tests and investigations.

I know that we have had many men post here on the forum who have had PSA results into the hundreds and even higher. Try not to worry too much about the PSA result at the moment. The important thing is that your Dad has these additional investigations and the specialists can then discuss how treatment options with him.
