I'm so sorry no-one was able to get back to you before you had your surgery, but I hope the removal of the tumour was a success.

Hopefully some of our members who have had a similar operation will be along soon to share their experiences and advice but I hope this information we have about what happens after surgery, including the possible problems that may occur, will be useful.

We also have a section on our website about living with salivary gland cancer but for further information and advice, you can make a post in our cancer nurses section of the forum. It's called ask the nurses, and they will do all they can to answer your questions and address how this surgery will affect your speech and swallowing going forward.
