Waiting for further biopsy

My husband has just had a lymphoma diagnosis which has spread to his chest and abdomen.  We are waiting on further tests on the biopsy to determine exactly what sort of blood cancer before the treatment can begin. Meanwhile he can barely get out of bed or stay awake. He appears to be declining more every day. Is this normal and is there anything that I can do?

  • Hi Fio140331,

I'm sorry you haven't received a reply before now - hopefully since posting you have been able to speak to someone. It would be good to call your husband's doctor if you haven't already. If you are struggling to get through to anyone and need more urgent advice, you can always call NHS 111 for support.

I hope you're able to get the information you need soon, as well as some support in the meantime.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
