Still in a state of shock but need to choose a treatment option. I really don’t want urinary issues or ED. I would welcome comments from those who have been treated. Thank you.
You both need to have your bladder checked. I got my Prostate out 2 years ago. Now I have stage one bladder cancer. My bladder had multiple tumours both types and had to operations to remove them. I have done 5 weeks of BCG immune therapy one more to go. Hope this helps. Ask anytime. Thanks
Hi Daver57. Congratulations on beating this thing. I hope you continue to remain clear. And thanks for the advice. My radiotherapy is scheduled for February. Fingers crossed it my prognosis is good.
Hi Jhonny, I'm in the same boat. I am an absolute mess. Deciding what treatment to choose is as bad as having a cancer diagnosis. At moment I have chosen Active Surveillance.
Not sure if its the right choice, but the alternatives- the side effects - well I'm not ready for that.
Maybe when I'm more scared of the cancer than the side effects, then I can make a more rational decision.
Hi Mack-Mack, we’re in the same position, they offered me AS at the moment since April this year, Radiation therapy is not prefferably for me because of my age. Im sure time will come we’ll get throught with this thing.
