Iv just had a hysterectomy on the 20 July  this year due to pre cancer cells cgin high grade hpv only after testing my womb  was I diagnosed with cervical cancer on the 9th of August  they said they had removed it all now I’m having to have my pelvic lymph nodes removed in 2 weeks time it’s such a scary time I hope it goes well for you 

Hi caz33 I have appointment on the 9th September to see consultant over hysterectomy I have high grade cin3 hopeing he will explain more  and what they will remove as I lost my sister to ovarian cancer after she had hysterectomy so feeling really scared at moment x

Hi sorry to hear. I also had CGIN3 and had LLETZ but unfortunately cancerous cells were present next to the precancerous ones and am now waiting for a hysterectomy date. This is my fear too that then more will be found as every step has been a ‘surprise’ to the medical team (who are being very supportive). May I ask why they have advised to remove lymph nodes and ovaries (I have asked if I should ). Best of luck x

I had that to and  was told after having hysterectomy that would be it only after having it done did they then tell me 

It was cancer I waited 2 weeks for my hysterectomy it was done as emergency x

The lymph nodes are like like a vacuum and catch everything they think it’s caught some or maybe  no cancerous cells that break away I won’t know until I have them removed next week then they get tested I’m also really scared I have young children my younger only being 1 years old I hope you don’t wait to long and I wish you all the best x
