I have posted previously about my husband's diagnosis of bladder cancer and his TURBT. We had a cancellation appointment at the hospital on Thursday to discuss the biopsy results, the bladder cancer has been removed and no further treatment is needed just check ups.

Scans have shown that he has a small kidney cancer and he needs to have the kidney removed to eliminate the cancer, the consultant said there was no other option. Such a shock, my mind is all over the place, such major surgery and he is terrified.

Just looking for a bit of support really. The op will take place within 6 weeks and so I am hopeful that by the new year he will be fully recovered or is that too optimistic?
