Hi, I'm newly diagnosed. I have an atypical carcinoid tumour in my lung which has spread to my bones, liver and stomach.  I had back ache for a few months which my doctor insisted was a pulled muscle and so I was rubbing deep heat on my back for weeks. My oncologist says my cancer is controllable  and I will be starting monthly injections in the next couple of weeks. It is a lot to take in and I'm still coming to terms with it..
