Looking to hear from others who have AML

Diagnosed with AML at beginning of May 24.

Starting my 4th cycle of treatment next week and Iv been deemed suitable for allograft 

I'm tolerating treatment very well and can manage alot of exercise.Walked 10km yesterday 

Looking to hear from anyone who made it out the other side

    I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis of AML. I'm sure that this was difficult news to receive but it's good to hear that you're tolerating treatment well and that you've been able to continue getting out and about. Hopefully this will stand you in good stead for the allograft.

    I've had a look through the forum and I can see that there are a number of posts where members have mentioned an AML diagnosis. If you'd like to read through some of these you can find them using the forum search function at the top of the page. You might also want to have a look at the Blood Cancer UK website where you may be able to connect with others who have been through treatment for AML.
