Lung Cancer spread

Hi, MY Grandpa has just been diagnoised with Stage 4 Lung Cancer after breaking his hip. We have been told that its spread to his liver and possibly lymph nodes. They have said they cant give him any treatment or take biopsies due to his health. I know nobdy can see the future but Im just wondering does anyone know roughly how long we should have with my granpa?

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm very sorry to hear of the situation with your grandpa, I can imagine this must be difficult to process and deal with.

    Unfortunately it's very difficult for anyone here to advise on what to potentially expect. Hopefully the doctor involved in his care will be able to provide further information for you and your family, if not already then soon. They will be best placed to give you all the information you need.

    I hope you're able to find out more soon. Do keep in touch with those around you for support also, in order to help each other.
