I've just joined the forum. My father has been diagnosed with a skin cancer and the hospital say the wait list is 12-18 months. I'm looking for private treatment. the first private place I contacted said they could treat within 6 months. Good luck with your search for treatment. If I find somewhere will less of a wait list, I'll let you know.

In case anyone is looking for private treatment, a private healthcare provider who have a national network offered me a consultation for £200 within a week and said removal of a 15mm skin cancer might cost £1500 with a 6 week waiting list. This sounds more hopeful than waiting at least of a year for NHS treatment. We shall see...
