I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been told you have a tumour in your oesophagus and that you're now waiting for the results of the biopsy and CT scan. Undoubtedly this is a difficult time for you and it's natural that you will have questions and concerns.
Has the hospital team given you a time frame for when you will have the results that you're waiting for? Hopefully, it won't be too long and they will be able to give you some reassurance about the next steps when you speak with them.
In the meantime, I wanted to give you this link to a thread where lots of folks have shared their experiences of oesophageal cancer. There are lots of different stories on that thread John and hopefully, some of them will help you think positively whilst you wait for your results. If you post a message on that thread it may be that you're able to chat with other members who have similar experiences.
