Chemo-radiation after hysterectomy

Hi. Has anyone experienced having chemo-radiation after a radical hysterectomy? I had a cervical cancer stage 1b but because it’s been graded as 2, my doctors are considering whether I should now have chemo radiation for 4-6 weeks. The side effects frighten me but if it lowers the chances of recurrence then of course I’ll do it. Anyone been through this and can tell me what their experience was? Thanks
