Hello, Looking for some advice please...  I was newly diagnosed last week with womb cancer. I was just told that the biopsy was malignant and no other information - I was reeling from this news, and still am!!  Can you tell from a biopsy what stage the cancer is? The consultant didn't offer any further information, just that I would need an MRI scan to determine the next course of treatment.  

Looking at some posts on this forum it seems that some people have been told what stage their cancer is from their biopsy..  I know I am just creating more worry for myself and thinking the worst so that's why the consultant didn't offer any further info - and I was certainly not in a position to ask..

I do have my MRI later today so I have been lucky with getting an appointment very quickly - another reason to worry????
