Hi everyone. I have started taking apixaban cardiologist and oncology think this is wise. Has anyone been put on this and what were your periods like? I hate mine to start with not because they are heavy but just generally hate having them. I'm worried that the bleeding is going to be horrendous apparently 70% of people on this blood thinner have horrible heave periods. I am currently 4 days pre lumpectomy and lymph node removal and doing OK, the pain seem slightly worse in my arm pit than my breast just have to wait 2 weeks for results to come back stage it.
