So I have stage 4b Ovarian cancer

Hi Everyone,

I'm Amy, I'm 38 and I've just had the strangest couple of weeks of my life. I'll write more when I've processed everything properly because it all just seems surreal and ridiculous but they told me a few days ago that I have two tumours, one the size of a football, with disease spread to my peritoneal cavity and chest. I'll be starting chemo soon, just waiting for some biopsy results.

I just wanted to write it down somewhere where it doesn't feel really dramatic, I still feel like I might be making it up. It's so strange.

  • Hi Amy, I I am very new to this site as only last week I was told I have womb cancer and my MRI is tomorrow where I guess I will learn the extend of the cancer..  I never thought I would ever face this but then what makes me so special??  This site has actually helped me reading what others are also facing / going through.

It is very strange experience but try to remain positive and keep in contact with this site and feedback..
