Can't  help but feel useless, being so far away and unfit to travel. 

Latest MRI's have shown osteonecrosis right ball joint and tumours in her femurs..  she has been referred to physio and given a stick, now upgraded to elbow crutch...  every hospital visit is a 4 hour round trip and she is in so much pain,  it's difficult to understand what [ if any] benefit these appts have. She is on monthly bone strengthening infusions and weekly bloods...it was her decision not to pursue stem cell transplant option... she is on a cocktail of pain relief meds without any improvement...

Apart from sending care packages and her favourite things,  I'm at a loss what else I can do...

She, herself is in denial...we seldom discuss the situation,  which is her decision and I obviously respect her wishes...just find it so hard when she asks me when she will be feeling better and when she will improve..
