80 years old with breast cancer

Just been diagnosed most people I read about are so much younger than me anyone in this age group are round with advice please .

    I did ask but she said no she would be happier knowing I was having radiotherapy but  willing to say ok to no tablets , I will have to travel about 25 miles for it ,

    Good you had entertainment while you waited I think it’s the surgery that is worrying me most but you just have to be strong and put your trust in those looking after us .

    Thanks for all your information and answering my questions it is very reassuring chatting to someone who as been through it hope you continue to recover well with the rest of your treatment and I am sure I will have more questions for you as you progress ahead of me

    Do not worry about the surgery! It is very straightforward and there is nothing to be scared about. You will be in good hands.

    I will keep you posted when I have a letter from the oncologist. This could take 2-4 weeks.

    Thank you Annei it  will be good to keep in touch regarding our dates and appointments I will know more when I have the pre op assessment on Friday.
