I have been put on a treatment of phesgo and capecitabine tablets. Had the phesgo injection today and so far no side effects.

I start 6 tablets twice a day tomorrow, I know you need to have something to eat before taking them.

Being daft asking but how much do you have to eat. Is it just something in your stomach or a meal

Sorry to ask, I forgot to ask the nurse today.

Hi there, been on 8x Capecitabine a day/night for a while now and I generally have a muller rice pot OR toast & a cup of tea to help swallow the tablets. They are quite big so a full tummy may not help in getting them down. Hope it helps

It's awful especially when there's the anti sickness and other tablets as well, you could get full on just tablets alone. All the best with treatment
