I start tomorrow!!....eeek! Ready as i'll ever be but just wondered if anyone else was starting this week? Or wondered if anyone had any last minute hints or tips!!

xx

  • Good luck for tomorrow Greeny80, will be thinking of you. I know we chatted on the other thread, but thought I'd wish you well on this one too. I brought a little holdall with me with a blanket (which I didn't need), good if you decide to go with cold cap. Also had a neck pillow, head phones to listen to music and kindle. Plus water bottle and a few snacks. Next time I'm bringing my own sandwich, as the one they gave me wasn't great. Let me know how it goes. Xx

  • Thank you Pippin!!! Yes have my headphones and kindle, i'm just about to fnish my book though so will need to get on the case with another one!! Trying the cold cap but we'll see how that goes...thanks for the tips, i can imagine a neck pillow is a good idea too! xx

  • I had to have anti sickness meds an hour before treatment started. This is when I layed back with my neck pillow, listening to music. Helped keep the nerves at bay, while waiting for everything to start. In the end everything went smoothly and I did feel quite relaxed. You'll be fine I'm sure. Xx

  • Yes really hope i can swerve the nausea..hoping they give me lots of pre med anti sickness too. So glad it's been so smooth for you so far..you are giving me hope! Take care and have a good week xx

  • They give you loads of anti sickness meds to take home as well, to take for a few days. Keep in touch, when you feel up yo it. Xx
