Squamous cell carcinoma of the bridge of my nose

Hello, I have just been diagnosed with an SCC on the bridge of my nose. I have an appointment with the plastics department on March 25th.
I wondered if there is anyone here that has the same  condition as me. I will need a skin graft when the cancer is removed.

  • Hello Laneyp1954,

A warm welcome to our forum! I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on the bridge of your nose and I hope that your appointment next week goes well and that you will be able to find out more about the skin graft you will need when the cancer is removed.

I hope that other members of our forum who have had SCC on their nose will come along and share their story with you - it does help to talk to others who have found themselves in a similar situation and who have had a skin graft too after the cancer was removed.

Should you have any questions about SCC or about the procedure, don't hesitate to get in touch with our cancer nurses on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they will be happy to talk things through with you.

Best of luck for your appointment on the 25th - if you get a moment, do come back here and let us know how it all went!
