  • Hi Rebbecald,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing this pain. It will be a doctor who is best placed to advise on this, so do make an appointment to see your GP when you can.

Be sure to give them all the information you have given here, and any detail about the symptoms you're experiencing, and hopefully they will be able to help.

    Wishing you all the best,

  • Hi Rebbecald,

A very warm welcome to our forum.

We are always advised to get any changes in our breasts investigated, so you definitely won't be wasting anybody's time. If your GP thinks that there's the slightest chance of cancer, they will refer you to the breast clinic for tests, as this is the only way to be certain. If you are referred, don't panic, as it is a fact that only 20% of those referred will get a cancer diagnosis. They say that pain seldom accompanies breast cancer and that most are painless in the early stages.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
