Advice - diagnosed with grade 1 invasive breast cancer

So I've recently been diagnosed as of last week grade 1 invasive breast cancer. Been told I definitely need am operation but untill they've done an mri of my breast they don't know if its a mastectomy or lumpectomy. And I definitely need radiotherapy but untill they do an ultra sound of my arm pit they don't know if its chemo as well as a ct scan showed swollen lymph nodes. I've also got to have a ultra sound on my uterus as that's bulky with widened endometrium extended to the serosa.

So my question is. Does anyone have any experience of being told its grade 1 and then when they've finished all the testing they need to do being told its worse than they thought. Cause two weeks ago when they did the biospy they reassured me it was a fibroadenoma.
