Hi All

Just finished my first chemo cycle for rectal cancer.

Today is not a good day, I feel exhausted,aches all over and a pounding headache.

Side effects I did expect but the reality of these is something else.

any suggestions for the management of these side effects us most welcome!

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time and I hope that you're feeling a little better today.

    Keep in touch with your doctor if you continue to struggle with your side effects, so they can be informed and if necessary suggest anything to help ease it.

    We have some information on our website about chemotherapy for rectal cancer, in case this is useful.

    Hopefully you'll get some more replies to your post from other members of our community, particularly anyone with similar experience to share. Do also have a browse or search of the forum for other relevant discussions, if you would like to.
