recently diagnosed stage c liver cancer

hi, recently diagnosed with stage c liver cancer after having cirhosis for a short few yrs, was a drinker every day but gave it up 4 yrs ago! heart broken thinking this is gonna kill within a short time, but yet ive seen people with this live yrs! obviously wit proper treatment, it is in portal vein so surgery not reccomended! 70 yrs old too , bet lung cancer twice b4 8 yrs ago! oncologist just suggested immunoterapy every 28 days for 3 months, surely this wouldnt be enuf to either shrink it or get it gone??? shud a chemo oral tab not be given wit it as ice read both together will be great??? so scared and need alot off help and advise here please , were in ireland, thanks xx

  • I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with liver cancer Emer. This must have been very hard to hear, especially after beating lung cancer twice.
