I agree with Rumpelstiltskin about writing down all of your questions. I always take 2 copies of my questions - 1 for myself and one for hubby. As I ask the questions, he writes down the replies, as it's all too easy to forget things, when you are all pent up at your consultation.

Thank you, on my way to the hospital now. Actually feel really nervous about this appointment, even though I won't be getting poked or prodded about. Think it just feels more real at this point!

Hi Pippin24, I know exactly how you're feeling,  I found my lump on the 18th of December ( this is after a preventative double Mastectomy due to having Brca 1 gene) I saw the  the oncologist yesterday (16th feb) I've now got to have a PET scan before any treatment starts and yes I fear the cancer could be growing and spreading , his point was that they need the scan to see if nodules in my lung and around my heart area have cancer cells , so I do understand that they need to be able to decide on what treatment,  it's all just a worry but I'm really trying to be positive x

Hi Rufusblue, sorry to hear that you're having to go through this, after already going through a double mastectomy. My ct scan also found a couple of small nodules on my lungs and a small benign cyst on my liver  I was told before I even had my ct scan that they are seeing more lung nodules  since covid. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your scan and results, as the waiting is the worst bit. Wishing you good luck with everything, please let me know how you get on. Xx
