I've just been diagnosed with bowel cancer after colonoscopy . 24 hours ago I was living normally, today I've got cancer . I'm just waiting for more information from someone on next step . How quick do things progress ?

You are not alone i am going through the same thing myself, just diagnosed with colon cancer and waiting for a CT scan and scared Are they giving you a CT scan ? , stay strong
I know exactly how you feel, when I went for my colonscopy on 10 January I was convinced they would tell me it was nothing (I had no symptoms really, but had come up positive in a screening test) but then they told me they had found a tumour. I couldn't take it in. Still processing it now, to be honest.
Things moved pretty quickly after that for me - I was called the next day and offered a CT on Sunday 14th. I've since had an MRI and PET scan and have an appointment this coming Wednesday with the oncologist. Have been told I will need chemo and/or radiotherapy to shrink the tumour down a bit before I can have surgery.
Sending hugs to you, this bit is super stressful xxx
