I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been through surgery following a cancer diagnosis. It's understandably been a difficult time and I hope that your physical recovery from the operation has gone smoothly.
We know that for many people this period of waiting for results can be an anxious time. It's natural that our thoughts wander to the what-ifs. Trying to keep busy and keep a positive frame of mind can help the time to pass more quickly and certainly can help lower anxiety levels.
Do you know when your follow-up appointment is likely to be? Hopefully, it won't be too long now and the team will be able to give you some answers and reassurance about the next steps when you see them. If you're not sure when you may hear some news then don't be afraid to give them a call to enquire.
