Thanks Jenn , just got appointment for lung biopsy for 7th February thank you for your reply , also had a breathing  test on Wednesday and spoke with consultant until they know which cancer it is he can't say which treatment , they are concerned about my weight as only 7st so I'm thinking chemo mite be out the window

I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but glad to see that things are moving fast and that you already have a date for your biopsy next week. This is always a worrying time, until you know exactly what you are dealing with. Once you have a treatment plan, you can start to move forward and will begin to feel more positive. It is not at all unusual to find yourself crying a lot. Don't worry about this, as all those tears you shed are a good stress reliever.

We are certainly very fortunate to have the NHS here for us in the UK and, despite the many complaints, I for one, am indebted to them. I am fortunate enough to be 14 years down the line from 2 bouts of breast cancer, within a year.

I sincerely hope that your results don't take too long to come back and then you can start your treatment.
