Diagnosed with stomach NET

Hi all, I'm so sorry to read about everyone's diagnosis and wish you well with your treatment. I've just been diagnosed with a grade 1 stomach NET and I'm awaiting treatment for it. I'd never heard of it before, been told by a nurse and one Dr that it's cancer and another nurse and Dr that it isn't which is worrying and stressful. I'd like to hear from anyone else who may be able to help or give me information about NETs and their experience. Thank you.

    I'm sorry to hear you've been diagnosed with stomach NET and for the conflicting information you've been given about this from the doctors and nurses.

    I hope this information we have about stomach neuroendocrine tumours will clear things up but if you'd like to talk this through with one of our cancer nurses, you can do so on 0808 800 4040. Our nurses helpline is open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they'll do all they can to answer your questions and make your diagnosis easier to understand.
