Dendritic cell and anal cancer T2

I have been recently diagnosed with a 3cm T2 NO MO cancer could I have dendritic cell therapy instead of chemoradiation as a first option? I can only find research findings for it as a secondary treatment after first line has failed? Am anxious to see if it would be possible to avoid the devastating side effects

  • Hello Newtoit and welcome to the Cancer Chat community.

We have some information about dendritic cell therapy on our website but to find out more and whether it could be a possible treatment for your diagnosis, it would be best to give our cancer nurses a call on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m and they will do all they can to help.

If you haven't had the chance to do so yet, do be sure to discuss this with your cancer team as well as they are in the best position to give you the answers you're seeking.

Hopefully you will receive some support and encouragement from our members soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you and wishing you all the best on your journey.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
