Hi,
my mum has a BCC on the tip of her nose, which was removed by diathermy (cauterisation) about 16months ago, since then she has been waiting for a follow up appointment. Every time she’s called the hospital, where she had the treatment, to see what was happening, all she gets told is to keep waiting for them to contact her and are not helpful at all. The tissue that they “removed” is growing back and it is really concerning as she/we don’t want it to get to a stage where she needs grafts etc.
Reaching out to see if anyone can offer any advice on how she can move the process quicker or have any information on private treatment.
