  • Hello debz64

I'm so sorry to hear that you're struggling with things today. It's a common reaction that many of us experience after the initial diagnosis.

This period of uncertainty regarding tests, scans, results, and what treatment will be recommended can be really difficult. I'd really encourage you to lean on your friends and family for support over these next few days but also to reach out to talk to someone about how you're feeling. You might find that there is a Maggie's centre attached to the local cancer hospital that you can pop into for a cuppa and chat with one of their support workers. Or it may be that there is another similar service available. Alternatively, you're most welcome to call our nurses today or at any point in the future to talk with them about how you're feeling. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any support they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

Be kind to yourself these next few days Deb. Keep posting here if it helps to put down in words how you're feeling. I'm sure that some of the community members will be along before too long to offer their advice and support.

    Best wishes,
    Jenn
