U3 classification and THY3f FNA result

Hello,

this is my first time posting here, i recently received U3 classification on 2 nodules in my left and right side, the left side FNA came back as THY2 but the right side came back as THY3f and surgery was on the cards.

however my case went to the multi-disciplinary team and the radiologist disagreed with the U3 classification and said he would have graded them U2 in classification, they are now recalling my biopsy results to look at them again, how likely is it that they will get a different reading?

the whole thing is stressing me out.

  • Hiya, I’m new too. My operation will be at the end of March. I have honestly no idea!! I only read people recommended v shaped pillows and to take painkillers you are offered. I’m just relaying what other people said though. I guess try to be calm! If possible ️ ️! Best wishes! Will be thinking of you tomorrow! You will be fine! X

  • The recovery is fine, you will be sore for a couple of days but I was eating and drinking the same day, get them to give you good pain killers on your overnight stay, morphine and IV paracetamol worked well for me, good luck
