Hello 

I had a wle on upper thigh 6/7 weeks ago margins all clear 

they seem to be positive and no need to be seen again - have a skin check with a dermatologist January for peace of mind -I’m just wondering has anyone has nerve damage from the op 

my leg feels so funny still like groin area thigh and around knee like numb - they have assured me it’s all healing just a bit worried ! I think I’m so anxious and highly aware of it all after the worst time of my life maybe I’m over thinking 

34 years old healthy etc  so was a shock

    Hi Fiona,

    Your op was still quite recent so you will experience these kind of feelings for months yet. They have to cut through tissue & nerve endings to ensure they've got all the mole out - this means it takes a long time for the nerve endings to repair themselves. If you still have the numbness at your appointment in January, let the consultant know but I'm sure they will say it's to be expected for some time to come. Good luck,

    Thank you Angie really needed to read this tonight  I do forget that I’ve had an operation and that I’ve not rested etc - 5 children not easy 2 ! I think I’m just so upset and really really scared tbh that I’m in panic mode all the time :( xx
