Newly diagnosed Endocrine hormone therapy

Endocrine hormone therapy

Hello,

I've recently had a lumpectomy and 2 lymph nodes taken out from under my arm.

Results in 3 weeks

Probably radiotherapy then hormone treatment.

Can anyone let me know what the hormone therapy is like, I'm 56.

Are there any side effects.

Hi there , everyone is different of course , some people get few side effects some get lots . Unfortunately I got most of them but have managed ways round them. The breast care nurse will give you information when you start. You can always come on here for support or advice. Wishing you good luck x

Hi I’m waiting for surgery atm .DIEP flap and mastectomy but I’ve been on Letrozole since May x
