just after advice, my dad had a swollen lump in his neck, i took him to the gp, he was given a weeks worth of antibiotics and told to come back in a week for a review. We went for the review to be put on the 2ww pathway. he was seen friday by ENT and was told by her after a feel she was very worried… he was then taken for a camera to be put up his nose through to his mouth… as far as i can remeber she said she couldnt see anything on this but he was then sent for a mouth xray and then for ultrasound and biopsys… the sonographer was open and said it was quite a large abnormal lump… he has a mri of his neck booked and a ct of his chest also booked before he has his review appointment with her next week with all results… has anyone been through similar and what outcomes did you have? praying that it is primary and no other secondary is found. The lump has been noticeable to him for 6-8 weeks in total.
