I'm about to have consultation for results of all the bc tests. Highly likely I have bc in left boob and will need a mastectomy. Fearing the worst.
What is best way to tell grown up kids and close friends?

Hello RenateE. I went through the same dilemma. For about 10 years i suffered from Cystic Breast lumps, had them aspirated and moved on, until earlier this year when i was diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
On my way home from the consultation i continued to cry, just the thought of saying the word Cancer. I told my sister and asked her to tell the family. My sons no longer live with me. I thought telling them was the hardest thing i had to do but was very surprised how supportive and strong they have been for me.
I know it will be hard for you but if you get the diagnosis every one dreads then you have to be brave and tell them sooner rather than later. You will need them to help you through it.
I pray all will be well for you x
Thank you for your helpful words. Yep wait for the plan of action then tell them over the weekend. X
