BC Questions if diagnosed????

Good morning all. I have my appointment at the breast clinic this Monday. My lump is firm, moveable and smooth so hoping it’s a cyst but trying to prepare as have F/H.
Please can anyone advise on useful questions to ask if I am in the position of being diagnosed?
I know my mind will be a blank in this scenario and I will leave wishing I had asked things?

Also has anyone else had a moveable lump with a good or bad outcome??

Thank you.

A terrified and distressed Chelbel.

  • Chelbel

try and treat it like it’s a cyst and go in hoping for this .

I would not prepare questions yet as after your appointment on Monday you will probably still won’t no if it’s a diagnosis they will do the tests and biopsy’s if suspicious but you still don’t no until results come back , until then I wouldn’t prepare anything you got a good chance this is all ok, try not to run away with the news of a bad outcome .

Monday you will either walk out free or need to wait on results my consultant told me there and then it was highly suspicious, some don’t tell you until biopsy In

wishing you all the luck in the world for a positive outcome xx

  • Thank you Lara. I really do hope it is a good chance of being a cyst. I’m so scared of the other. If it is bad and I can get into the mindset that it’ll be a few months of horrible treatment then I’ll be fine I could cope. But I can’t. I saw how my sister suffered. When my sister was diagnosed she battled for 3 years but was never really well again after her diagnoses. This also scares me……………

Her cancer was 19 years ago and I appreciate things have moved on but still………….

So sorry to be a negative Nelly. I can not air these thoughts anywhere else. ️ ️

  • Chel I’m so so sad about your sister it is definitely going to be on your mind , that’s why you are probably panicking I do feel for you lovely but I pray for you that all will be good xxx
