Hi I just wanted to say that your mum sounds like one brave lady for taking it well ,I agree it is devastating news hopefully you will find out more next week with some form of treatment ,for now just take one day at a time ,someone is always on here for you to chat to it is a really good forum ,Best Wishes to you and your mum .

We visited the oncologist today. It’s inoperable and they said a matter of weeks or months. To say I am devastated doesn’t quite go far enough. 

That is devastating news to say the least ,you must be shattered ,hopefully you have good family and friends around you ,don't feel alone there's always someone on here like I said ,others have been through the same hopefully they will see this and offer practical advice on how they coped with the same news ,It helps to be able to talk to someone you don't know sometimes ,my thoughts are with you both x
