Once you have been diagnosed, do you ask what the survival rate would be or is it best not to ask?
Once you have been diagnosed, do you ask what the survival rate would be or is it best not to ask?
Well said, me too !
To Cyclegran, I am sorry you are feeling so tired and hope that days will get brighter for you.
In my other post I had said I felt well, not that I am well. That is not the same thing as the frightening words used in the doctor's letter.
Actually, this is possibly in the wrong place because, apart from the frightening things said in the doctor's letter, diagnosis cannot be given to a patient until results of the biopsy have been seen, and the biopsy is happening this Friday.
Mary
did they send a letter before biopsy or any diagnosis?
Oh bless you
so you haven’t had any diagnosis yet maybe the letter is a complete error it has to be without biopsy bless you xx
Thank you. I think, from memory without looking at the letter, he was saying what he could see in the CT scan.
Right I understand lovely
so you have to wait for another appointment for a possible diagnosis ?
Yes, once they have the biopsy results, but I really hope not with the same doctor.
Yes I understand some doctors consultants are very straight hsve you got a date yet ? The wait is the worst xx
