epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma

Hello, I am Hayley, I’ve waited 8 weeks for my results, and was crushed to hear I have cancer, and its a rare one called epithelial-myoepithelial carcinoma, does anyone else know anyone that has this or similar.

I was diagnosed on 08/06, going into hospital on the 14/06 to be operated on 15/06, when they will try and remove what they can, as the tumour is pushing against my brain and my only sighted eye, he said that he could remove it all, but I’d not have a great quality of life.  So, we are also going down the chemotherapy and radiotherapy route.

I keep telling myself this is real, it isnt happening, I am just looking through a window of someone else’s life.
