Prostate cancer brachytherapy

Hi All, 

I’m 55 recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. Psa 7.4 Gleason score 7. I’m please that the consultant has confirmed I’m suitable for HDR Brachytherapy but conscious that if it’s not successful I may not be able to have a prostatectomy.

I’d be very grateful if anyone could share their experience of HDR Brachytherapy treatments.

I’ll share my experience of the treatment.

    I noticed you haven't had a reply just yet so I just wanted to stop by and let you know your post has been seen.

    Hopefully some of our members who have had HDR brachytherapy as part of their prostate cancer treatment will share their experiences and advice with you soon but if you'd like to find out more about this then I hope this information we have on our website will help.
