I am sory to hear that you are having this problem with Anastrole. I am glad to hear that you have had your lumpectomy. It is still early days and I wonder if your fatigue is as a result of your surgery, or the Anastrole? I had a lumpectomy 14 years ago, followed by Tamoxifen and felt totally exhausted with it. I was advised to stick to a particular brand of the drug and to take it at night, instead of in the morning. 

Have a chat with your breast care nurse and see what she advises.

I'm not surprised that you were in a low place with all that you've both been through, but I'm glad to hear that you are gradally coming through it. I hope that your husband is recovering well after getting his pacemaker.

I felt very low at the beginning too. I lost my mum to secondary breast cancer and have had 2 bouts of breast cancer myself. My hubby had a quadruple by pass, but then developed Pneumonia and had a stroke. Since then he has had several more mini strokes. He also has Diabetes, Vascular Parkinson's and Vascular Dementia. It's not easy, but I guess that this is our lot in life and we just have to live with it.

Do chat with your support nurse, as she may be able to suggest something to help. I hope that your radiotherapy goes well. Have you got a date for that yet? Please let us know how it goes.

Oh my goodness you have had a lot morw than me to contend with. I really hope life improves everyday for you. No date yet for radiation but sure it won't be too long now.  Look after yourself.  X x
